- Mark your Calendar - We meet most Monday evenings while school is in session in St. Bede cafeteria from 6:30-7:30pm. Once a month, everybody meets together in a “Pack Meeting”. To keep up to date:
- Check out our calendar.
- Kindergarteners are welcome to join the 1st graders or can skip Den Meetings and join in our highlights (camping, fishing derby, Pinewood derby, etc.)
- Know your Den
- Kindergarten = Lion Den
- 1st grade = Tiger Den
- 2nd grade = Wolf Den
- 3rd grade = Bear Den
- 4th/5th grade = Webelos
- Register - If you are not yet a registered member of Pack 646, please join! To do this, you'll need to complete a registration form and pay dues. We have a sign-up night on September 9, but you can also sign up at any meeting. Dues this year are $75 and go towards our fees to register and insure the Cub Scouts, supplies for Den activities, Spring and Fall Pack camping trips, and activities like the Blue and Gold Ceremony and Pinewood Derby. We are committed to making sure that every boy who wants to join Pack 646 can do so, regardless of income so if dues are a problem, please come talk to us and we'll find funds to help you out.
- Start work on the Bobcat rank - All Cub Scouts, regardless of age, will always begin by earning the Bobcat rank. After that, they will work on the rank of their Den. Bobcat requirements are in each handbook.
- Have fun! - This is the most important thing on the list. We have lots of fun activities planned but are always looking to improve so if you have feedback, ideas, questions, concerns, please let us know.
We are hosting our annual Welcome (Back) Campfire at 6:30 pm on Friday (9/13) at the Arena at the Guyasuta Scout Camp in Sharpsburg (basically just over the Highland Park Bridge)!

This is a family outing, so siblings and parents are welcome. Games are planned and some of the scouts will participate in building a fire over which the hot dogs will be warmed. If you have other commitments and need to come late, that's fine--we'll stick around until 8:30 or 9.
The food is listed below; however, if you have a preference for vegetarian, please let us know by emailing cubmaster646@gmail.com or in the RSVP above.
Boys do not need to wear uniforms since they'll be playing in the dirt. We do encourage you to bring a flashlight.
When you come in, you can park in the main parking lot at you enter and then walk along the main road until you see Pack 646--about 1/8 mile.
FOOD
Round one: Weiners (precooked) warmed over a fire and placed in buns with condiments of choice.
